FEMA Trailers in Immokalee
For many who live in Immokalee…struggle is not a part of life…it is life. The poor farm worker town has its share of broken down buildings and dilapidated trailers. But even in a town many would rather ignore there are those who won’t give up. WGCU’s Luis Hernandez reports on a man who is finding a way to provide Immokalee families with a better alternative.

Dr. Wilson Bradshaw
The outgoing President of Metropolitan State University in Minneapolis-St. Paul was at the school's helm for 7 years. He oversaw a number of transitions - including opening a new campus. Now Florida Gulf Coast University will have the benefit of Dr. Wilson Bradshaw's experience. WGCU's Valerie Alker reports.

Presidential Primary's Effect on Campaigning in Florida
Florida Democrats are concerned Republicans will have an upper hand in the 2008 general election. That’s because the state Democratic Party could lose Convention delegates for holding a January 29th presidential primary. Florida Public Radio’s John Sepulvado reports that’s having an impact on Democratic campaigning in the state.

Biofuel Trees in Lee County
The use of corn ethanol as an alternative fuel source is cause of much debate. So Florida and Lee County officials are looking further. Lieutenant Governor Jeff Kottcamp joined Lee County Commissioner Ray Judah and others to plant the first of a unique tree last week in Orange River Park. WGCU’s Luis Hernandez reports how some feel this tree is a better alternative as a bio-fuel, yet it’s not all good news.
