Lake Okeechobee Release Schedule

The U-S Army Corps of Engineers wants public input on its new proposed release schedule for Lake Okeechobee. The schedule determines when water from the nation’s 3rd largest freshwater lake must be sent down the Caloosahatchee & St. Lucie Rivers. WGCU’s Mike Kiniry reports.

Art of the Olympians

The City Pier Building in Downtown Fort Myers is a bit closer to the two million dollar fundraising goal for a project that will transform it into a first class art museum. The Lee County Tourist Development Council granted 450,000 dollars to the Art of the Olympians. Kathleen Moye reports.
