Offshore Drilling Debate

Governor Charlie Crist has dropped his support for a federal moratorium on offshore oil drilling. He endorsed a proposal on Tuesday from Republican Presidential candidate John McCain that would let states decide for themselves whether to drill for oil and gas near their own coastlines. Tuition Increase at FGCU

In the wake of the state's serious revenue shortfall, Florida Gulf Coast University is working to offset a reduction of 4.9 million dollars in state funding. One measure is an across the board tuition increase. WGCU's John Davis has more.
