Barack Obama on Offshore Drilling

Presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama says he pledges to keep the moratorium on offshore drilling if elected President. As Alyssa Zamora reports, Senator Obama held a press conference on Friday in Jacksonville, in which he criticized Senator John McCain's reversal on the issue.

Pollinators Week

In February Governor Charlie Crist signed yet another “week” into law…this time it was Pollinators Week, which begins Monday. But before you think “don’t our lawmakers have better things to do?” or “what can I do for pollinators?” stop and consider this: much of the food we eat owes its existence to the work of pollinators. Remembering Robert Rauschenberg

Friends and admirers of the late Robert Rauscheneberg will come together for a celebration of his life Saturday at the Bob Rauschenberg at Edison College in Ft. Myers. The tribute features photographs of the late artist – and selections from his “Ruminations” print series. Ron Bishop is the gallery director and knew Rauschenberg, who passed away last month at his home on Captiva, for many years. He spoke to WGCU’s Valerie Alker…

Fort Myers Teen Meets President Bush
