Carl Hiaasen on Golf
Carl Hiaasen is well known as an author who often skewers the Sunshine State. He’s done so in a series of novels in which his anti-heroes are often champions of the environment – and in his weekly column in the Miami Herald. But in his latest book Hiaasen returns to his roots – golf. He told WGCU’s Valerie Alker he recently picked up a club again after a more than 30 year hiatus. His new book is titled “The Downhill Lie – a Hackers Return to a Ruinous Sport.
