Alligator Alley

The
State Department of Transportation’s plan to lease Alligator Alley to a
private vendor is on the fast-track towards approval, but a
transportation bill passed by the senate this week could bring that
plan to a halt.  WGCU’s John Davis has more.

a new option for women in the fight against breast cancer: a
five-minute screening that can identify abnormalities in the breast,
long before they turn into tumors. There are just a few physicians in
Florida offering the procedure. Katie Pankow found one, and has this
report.

residents about sustainable living.  The main goal is to reduce hunger
and provide food for years to come.  Hunger has become a major issue in
