Hog Hunt at Babcock

The “Babcock Ranch Preserve Small Game Hunting Area” in Charlotte County is hosting its 2nd public hog hunt this weekend. Lee Taylor is district biologist for the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission. He told WGCU’s Mike Kiniry that up to 30 hunters each paid 150-dollars for the chance to participate in the 2-day hunt.

Foreclosure Moratorium Reaction

Governor Charlie Crist says he’d like to put a moratorium on home foreclosures in Florida…giving troubled homeowners an additional 90 days to work out new deals with their banks. But one Florida economist says a foreclosure moratorium might actually hurt the real estate market more than it would help. David Pitman reports.

Florida Bankers React
