As part of a lawsuit with eleven states including Florida, Countrywide will begin modifying sub-prime mortgages. As Lynn Hatter reports, Countrywide will begin granting some relief to some homeowners to try to keep them out of foreclosure.

Countrywide was slapped with a lawsuit right before it was bought by Bank of America. Now Bank of America has agreed to modify Countrywide’s sub-prime mortgages to help homeowners who are either at-risk of, or in foreclosure. Lynn Hatter reports.
