Missing Children Bill

St. John's River Cleanup

The search is on for a new university system Chancellor. The Florida Board of Governor’s held its first search committee meeting Monday to start looking for a replacement. In the meantime a person is already being considered to serve as a temporary stand-in. Lynn Hatter reports.

First term state lawmaker, Republican Doug Holder, is facing off against Democrat Sam Rosenfeld to represent House District 70 in Tallahassee. Compensation Ruling

In 2003 the Florida legislature revised the state’s workers’ compensation law to cap attorney’s fees. But yesterday the Florida Supreme Court ruled in the case of Murray vs Mariner that a lawyer representing an injured worker is entitled to reasonable fees. Trimmel Gomes reports.
