Burger King says it might stop buying tomatoes from Southwest Florida.
It’s locked in a battle with an activist group in Immokalee and is looking for a different supplier. The Coalition of Immokalee Workers says this is just another ploy by the fast food chain. New Contemporary Chinese Art Exhibit at FGCU

Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Fort Myers

After a decade of stops and starts a memorial to southwest Floridians who died in the Vietnam War is finally in place near the foot of the Midpoint Bridge in Fort Myers. The series of black granite panels engraved with names of fallen soldiers was created by a local man who developed the technique used for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington D.C. WGCU’s Mike Kiniry reports.
