This week we’ve been hearing from the three candidates who hope to be the next congressman in Florida’s 14th District – which stretches from North Port south to Marco Island. In the general election incumbent 2nd term Republican Connie Mack will face fellow Republican, State Senator Burt Saunders of Naples…who’ll be running with no party affiliation…and Democrat Larry Byrnes, a professor at Florida Gulf Coast University. We heard from Senator Saunders on Wednesday morning - and then Congressman Mack’s Chief of Staff, Jeff Cohen, yesterday.
