Identity theft is a problem striking more people every day. The Federal Trade Commission estimates nearly 18-thousand Floridians had their identities stolen last year. Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum wants to educate people on how they can protect themselves. He attended what’s called a Shred-A-Thon outside a Sarasota bank on Tuesday.
