U.S. Representative Tim Mahoney was in Charlotte County Friday. Mahoney is the first Democrat to represent District 16 since it’s creation in 1973. He switched parties shortly before challenging incumbent Mark Foley…he told us the switch didn’t represent change on his part – but rather in the GOP.
