Description:
Live Oak is a nearly evergreen tree that drops its leaves in spring and then grows new ones a few weeks later. Some Live Oaks in Florida are known to shed leaves all year long... not all of their leaves at one time. Its round crown can spread 150 feet or more, but it will take awhile to get that big. It grows about 1-3 feet a year. A great tree to sit under and watch the wildlife!
