Type:  Groundcover / Wildflower

Size: 3 - 4 inches

Zone: 8b, 9a, 9b

Habitat:  Wet or dry soil conditions acceptable. Wide range of pH tolerated. Does well in sun and shade.

Description:
Excellent plant to use if you're looking for groundcover to replace your grass. Mimosa can be mowed, and from spring to early fall you'll have purple "powder puff" blooms on short stems. Also called "sensitive plant" because it's leaves drawback when touched.
