Zone: 8b, 9a, 9b, 10a, 10b

Habitat:  Dry soil is preferable, and can withstand a wide range of pH. It tolerates full sun to shady conditions.

Description:
This attractive, dark green plant works great as a shrub or groundcover. It is also cold tolerant, and is the primary larval food for the endangered Atala - a small, black and blue butterfly.
