Feed Public Radio...Feed A Family
WGCU Public Media and Harry Chapin Food Bank invite you to remember those who are hungry this holiday season by making a financial contribution to the Feed Public Radio…Feed a Family radio campaign.
On December 9, WGCU FM kicks off our 2017 Feed Public Radio…Feed a Family campaign, when for six days we ask you to support the radio programming you depend on. Simultaneously, your donation helps support food insecure people in SWFL. Donate today and help us kickstart the campaign and minimize our time on air. It’s simple. Donate $250 to WGCU – The Al & Nancy Burnett Charitable Foundation will donate $15 to the food bank – enough food to feed a family of four for over 5 days!
Thanks to The Al & Nancy Burnett Charitable Foundation, a portion of every pledge made during the campaign will be matched by 6%, with that match benefitting the Harry Chapin Food Bank.
The success of Feed Public Radio…Feed a Family is up to you. Over the past nine years, our members have donated over 1.2 million dollars during this radio campaign which equates to hundreds of thousands of pounds of food for the families served by the Harry Chapin Food Bank. Let’s do it again.
When we reach our goal $180,000, WGCU will host a mobile food pantry in one of the areas hardest hit by Hurricane Irma. Donate today online or by calling 800-533-9428. Thank you!
