Your Voice: Addicted!

WGCU Public Media's initiative, Your Voice, examines issues affecting Southwest Florida. On a quarterly basis, Your Voice probes a topic from multiple perspectives combining a live, call-in, television broadcast featuring an expert panel, television features, radio shows and articles in Expressions. Your Voice is a forum for discussion and an outlet for ways listeners and viewers can get involved.


This month, Your Voice focuses on the effects of addiction on individuals, families, communities and the health care system in Southwest Florida. We'll hear from experts about trends in substance abuse, treatments and options for living a life of sobriety, from families dealing with addiction, and from caregivers and social service agencies about the dilemmas they face.
